Hair Design: 1000 Hours
Our comprehensive 1,000-hour Hair Design Program is a state-approved curriculum designed to meet Ohio cosmetology licensing requirements, while focusing exclusively on the art, science, and business of hair. This program prepares students for Ohio State Board licensure and real-world success in todayās evolving beauty industry.
Students receive hands-on, practical training in all required hair design competencies, including haircutting, hair coloring, chemical texturizing, styling, and hair care theory. Instruction is delivered by experienced educators who provide personalized guidance, technical mastery, and professional development support throughout the program.
In addition to core hair services, the curriculum integrates state-mandated theory, sanitation and infection control, safety practices, professional ethics, and client consultation skills, ensuring graduates are fully prepared to pass the state licensing examination and enter the workforce with confidence.
Upon successful completion of the 1,000 required hours, students are eligible to apply for the Ohio Hair Design license, opening pathways to careers in salons, independent practice, runway and editorial work, platform artistry, and other creative and professional opportunities within the beauty industry.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Natural Hair Design:Ā 450 Hours
Our Natural Hair Design Program is a state-approved curriculum that meets Ohio licensing requirements and prepares students for Ohio State Board licensure. The program focuses on the cultural, technical, and professional foundations of natural hair care.
Students receive hands-on training in natural hair techniques, including braiding, twisting, locking, weaving, extensions, and natural hair styling, with an emphasis on proper hair care, scalp health, and technique precision.
The curriculum also includes state-mandated theory, such as sanitation and infection control, safety and hygiene practices, professional ethics, and client consultation, ensuring graduates are prepared to meet state regulations and industry standards.
Upon completion of 450 hours, graduates are eligible to apply for the Ohio Natural Hair Design license, opening pathways to careers in salons, independent practice, mobile services, and entrepreneurial opportunities within the natural hair industry.
